Summary

Career and Technical Education (commonly known as Vocational Education) is supported by the Perkins legislation. The latest reauthorization of the Perkins legislation passed in 2006. These programs are funded at both the secondary and post secondary levels. There is a crossover between what is allowed and/or required by Dept of Education through Perkins and Dept of Labor through the WIA program.
